Every motorized boat and jet ski on Nevada water has to display its registration numbers correctly, and the rules are specific: the number runs as "NV" followed by four digits and two letters (separated by a space or hyphen, like NV 3717 ZW), in solid block letters at least three inches tall, in a color that contrasts sharply with your hull. It goes on the forward half of both sides of the bow, reading left to right, with your validation decal placed within six inches toward the stern and in line with the number.
